Diabetes Help and Advice Service
The Diabetes Team provides a comprehensive Help and Advice Service for all of our patients with diabetes.
If you have any questions or queries about your diabetes or about any aspect of your diabetes treatment than do not hesitate to get in touch. If in doubt ring us!
The Diabetes Specialist Nurses are available to offer help, support and advice from 08.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Out of hours there is also a helpline and emergency advice can be sought as required.

Once you have contacted the Diabetes Team for help there are various ways in which we can help you.
- We may be able to give you telephone advice.
- We may need to arrange for you to come up and meet with one of the Diabetes Specialist Nurses.
- We may need to arrange for you to come up to one of the Consultant-led clinics.
- We may need to arrange for you to see one of the dietitians or podiatrists.
