Know your pen injector |
An article in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) has reminded everyone that all pen injectors are not the same. In the BMJ published on 27th May 2006 an article describes how two patients got into trouble on switching from using a NovoPen 3 to a FlexPen. The patients had discovered that ‘reverse dialling’ would deliver insulin with the NovoPen 3 and assumed the same would happen with their new FlexPen. This did not happen and the patients missed out on their insulin. There is an important message here.

Each walk will take approximately 1 ½ hours and will finish back at the McKee clock. There is also talk of a cuppa at a nearby café at the end of each walk. No cream buns though!. Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing. Why not invite a friend to come along with you.
